Community Work - MCE, Shergarh Cheema

Community plays a very important role in development of attitudes, habits and leadership among the students. To build up healthy relationship between college and community, Modern College of Education, Shergarh Cheema sensitized pupil teachers for the welfare of community. Ms. Rupinder Kaur Assistant Professor is the in charge of community work.

·        Medical or Dental Check up camp

·        Organizing Awareness Rallies among rural masses

·        Providing help to the needy students and community

·        Beautification of college campus as well as community places

·        Literacy Program

 

The objectives of the community work are:

·        To make pupil teachers a part of the community.

·        To sensitize the pupil teachers about the problems of the community.

·        To develop in the pupil teachers a habit of helping the needy.

·        To develop a sense of dignity of manual work.

·        To sensitize the pupil teachers about present scenario of school education.
